Electronic music is a playground. And your toy can be an instrument, a machine, an object…

The journey into the dreamlike space beyond time unveils the world of electronic music and experimental sound. Our guide during this sonic escape is Johana. She introduces five extraordinary musical personalities who reveal us the crucial element of music creation – the relationship between the artist and the instrument, between the human and the machine.

Steve Goodman aka Kode9 wonders whether there can be music without the humans. John Richards, founder of Dirty Electronics, values cooperation between musicians above the digital creation. Live coder Julian Rohrhuber sees the music programmers as poets behind the computer. Their unique approaches to the musical creation prove us that the electronic music is something you should know more about. And that in many ways it can be perceived as a metaphor to our today’s rapidly changing globalized world.
