Igor and After
Documentary Portrait by Ivan Ostrochovský
KVIFF Special Screenings Classic
SYNOPSIS
Filmed during the final months of cinematographer Igor Luther’s life, the film is a portrait of the fragile line between genius, self-destruction, and uncompromising artistic conviction. After a lifetime spent rejecting creative compromises, Luther looks back with striking honesty and self-criticism. The stubbornness that captivated those around him was both the source of his talent and the burden he carried throughout his life.
