SYNOPSIS

While reluctantly covering a sports event, journalist Eva captures a photo of Roma girl Anabela winning a race against all odds. The image sparks national interest and transforms Anabela into a rising star.

Trained by a local coach, she strives to meet everyone’s expectations, but feels more at home running through cornfields with Palik, a local boy. When she becomes pregnant, public support turns to pressure, forcing Anabela to choose between others’ ambitions and her own path.
